What is regenerative farming?

Regenerative farming is a holistic approach to agriculture that goes beyond organic. It focuses on rebuilding healthy soil, increasing biodiversity, and restoring natural ecosystems. Instead of simply minimizing harm, regenerative practices actively improve the land—capturing carbon, retaining water, and supporting pollinators and wildlife. At Empower Farms, this means growing nourishing food in a way that gives back to the earth, honors the rhythms of nature, and helps create a more resilient local food system for South Florida.

What is a CSA Program?

CSA stands for Community-Supported Agriculture and it is a subscription model that is meant to connect farmers directly to their community. The purpose is also for the producer and the consumer to share the risk of farming. When you become a CSA member you reserve a share of the season’s harvest and receive a weekly or bi-weekly box of whatever that farm grows.

How does the Empower Farms CSA work?

Our CSA members receive a mix of fruit, greens, hearty vegetables, herbs and also have the option to add on eggs from our flock of chickens. When you become a member of the Empower Farms CSA you are directly contributing to our mission of employing our disabled community.  The food you receive has been planted, maintained, harvested and packaged with the help of our Teammates. The love and care they put into their work shows through in our CSA boxes.
